The Alexander Technique
Discoveries of profound importance were made over a hundred years ago by the Tasmanian Frederick Matthias Alexander (1869-1955). The work that he developed throughout his lifetime (named The Alexander Technique) has given thousands of people from all walks of life the means to continually improve their use in all that they do to promote healthier functioning and greater ease of being. It is seen by many who practice it as a powerful tool for relieving physical and mental stress.
Whilst seeking relief from a specific problem such as breathing difficulty, back pain, postural difficulties, headaches, anxiety and stress related disorders, many individuals have found that The Alexander Technique, (by addressing underlying causes), offers the potential for bringing about improved well-being on other, perhaps unexpected, levels'.
